Every business has a beginning, and this is one of the first entries in Daily Tech’s story.
One of the first major projects was building the website you’re reading right now. It gave me an opportunity to dust off skills I hadn’t used in a while and reminded me how much I still enjoy building things. Long before Daily Tech, software development was something I was deeply passionate about, and it was fun to spend time working with HTML, CSS, and a bit of problem solving again.
Like any real project, the website evolved as I worked on it. What started as a simple template gradually became something much more personal. I found myself creating reusable layouts, simplifying the CSS, and designing a structure that should make it easy to expand the site as Daily Tech grows.
The goal has never been to build the flashiest website on the internet. I wanted something that feels welcoming, easy to navigate, and true to the kind of business I’m building. A place where people can learn about the shop, follow its progress, and eventually find repair guides, workshop updates, and stories from projects on the bench.
In many ways, this website is the first repair project Daily Tech has completed. It wasn’t repairing a laptop or a phone, but it was still a process of building, testing, refining, and improving until everything worked together.
This blog will continue that idea. As Daily Tech grows, I’ll be sharing repair projects, lessons learned, behind-the-scenes updates, and milestones along the way. Some posts will be technical, some will be educational, and some will simply document the journey of building a small repair shop from the ground up.
